Kim + Anne | Aspen Hall Wedding, Bend Oregon

Kim and Anne got married at Aspen Hall in Bend on February 1, in a room that overflowed with love and laughter.   It was a wedding for the books, and I’m so excited to share a snippet of it here!

We stayed with Kim and Anne in one of the two side-by-side homes they rented for the weekend, so we got to flow along in the current of the preparations and celebration with Kim and Anne’s awesome friends and family members.  It felt like we were part of the family by the time the dance floor heated up on Saturday night, and one of my favorite photos from this sneak peek is a picture of Anne, on the dance floor, shaking her finger at me and reprimanding me for working past my contracted hours.  She was ordering me to go eat something and dance with my wife, which I did… for a little while, at least.  :)  Hey, it was hard to leave my camera in my bag when there was so much Awesome happening on the dance floor.

These two have such love for each other, and it has been such a rich pleasure to photograph them and to relive their wedding through these images.  I can’t wait to watch their marriage unfold over the coming years.  Also, Kim and Anne’s wedding was beyond pretty, with a candlelit ceremony in front of the massive stone fireplace in the hall, pinecones and lichen adorning the tables, and champagne flutes lifted in the air to cheer heartfelt toasts as the night went on.

Thank you two so much for having us!

Would love to know where the couple were able to rent two homes side by side for the wedding weekend! We are planning a wedding from afar to take place in Bend next year with guests coming from everywhere. We would like to have accommodations for them. Love the pictures! Will be sure to send my daughter your info for her event!!!
